The Digital Crimes Unit (DCU) at Microsoft has been working overtime to take down the biggest and baddest botnets on the Internet, and in the wake of successful operations against Waledac and Rustock, now they’ve announced more good news: through the U.S. legal system, they’ve effectively destroyed the Kelihos botnets. The court ordered Verisign to shut down the 21 domains associated with the botnet’s command and control servers. You can read more here:
