It doesn’t seem like that long ago when I wrote an article here congratulating one of my clients – Tegile – for a pretty impressive award. And now, I’m doing it again! Last week, DCIG awarded Tegile their ‘Best in Class’ award for their all-flash HA2800 array. The announcement was made in conjunction with the release of DCIG’s 2013 Flash Memory Storage Array Buyer’s Guidein which the Tegile HA2800 array went up against a worthy line up of all-flash arrays from the likes of Whiptail, Pure, Nimbus, Violin and more.
DCIG graded arrays based on a wide variety of factors, including:
- VMware integration
- Flash memory optimization
- All-flash only
- Not based on Windows Storage Server
- SAN protocol support
- NAS support
- Support
Tegile won this round with a total score of 79.91 with Pure Storage’s FA 320 coming in a close second with 79.12 and Nimbus at number with their Nimbus S class S1005M and 75.18 points.
Congratulations, Tegile! And congratulations to all of the worthy players that scored well in this line up.
