The good news, according to Fortinet’s November Threat Landscape Report, is that the amount of spam has decreased on a global basis – a reduction of 12 percent in November. That came after the closing of a big Dutch botnet that was used by spammers.
The bad news is that malware levels are holding their own, with the bad guys hijacking servers left and right and critical zero day vulnerabilities found in Shockwave, Flash, PowerPoint, Quicktime, IE and other popular software applications. Read more here:
