Yesterday I wrote about how important it is to read the release notes to insure that you have the best Forefront TMG firewall experience.
To prove my point, take a look at the Alerts tab in the Monitoring node in the left pane of the TMG firewall console. You’ll see a number of alerts related to Reporting.
What might be causing this problem?
Well, the first thing we always should do, even before checking the Help file, is to check the release notes. Reading the release notes, we find that there is no information regarding these errors, only information regarding reporting with Stirling.
The moral of the story? While the release notes didn’t provide the solution to this problem, they could have 🙂 At this time these reporting errors appear to be bugs in the Beta 2 version of the TMG firewall, which I’m sure will be ironed out by the time the product is released.
