What’s new in FIM 2010 R2 SP1?

This site and blog began with a single focus: ISA Server (hence the name). Of course, over the years ISA morphed into TMG, which became part of the Forefront family of products, and the scope of this site has expanded to encompass other members of the Forefront family. Here’s one that we don’t talk about too often, though: Forefront Identity Manager (FIM) 2010.

Last month, Microsoft released FIM 2010 R2 SP1 to TechNet and MSDN. You can download it from the TechNet Evaluation Center at

It was initially released without the release notes, but they’re available now at:
