Always Create Crash Dump Files

If your hard drive has less than 25GB of free space, Windows 7 won’t create crash dump files for help diagnose crash issues. However, you can force it to regardless of free space with this new Registry entry:

Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

Key: SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl

DWORD Name: AlwaysKeepMemoryDump

DWORD Value: 1

You can then find the memory.dmp file in the Windows directory.
