Gartner says the spending on cybersecurity is gonig up and could get as high as $76+ billion this year, but the solutions that organizations are spending all that money on tend to focus on the wrong aspect of the problem. They address the data that needs to be protected, but they’re ignoring the real source of the problem: the users who are so frustrated by the way security mechanisms interfere with their ability to get their work done that they find ways to circumvent those security measures.
