Many people these days use Facebook Messager as a primary means of private communication, but how private is it? According to an article in the Guardian, Facebook might be considering giving you the option to make it more secure via end-to-end encryption, but this could interfere with some of Messenger’s advanced features, particularly its artificial intelligence/machine learning features. Small price to pay?
No official word from Facebook on any of this, but I’m sure there are some who would be willing to give up the AI for more secure encrypted messages. Read more here:
