VDI is a hot buzz-word. A lot of vendors are betting on an emerging market with VDI to take off. Today, VDI has 1% or less of the market share of desktops. However, Microsoft, Gartner, and IDC predict that VDI will reach a 30% market share in 2010 and a 60% market share in 2012. Those are some bold predictions.
