The good news is that 92 percent of the 100,000 incidents analyzed in compiling this report fit just nine basic patterns. That makes defending against such a multiplicity of threats, if not easy, at least a little closer to possible. The report reviews victim demographics and analysis of incidents for types of attacks varying from physical theft and loss to cyber-espionage, and a whole lot in between.
