First Look at VMware AppBlast

One of the announcements at VMworld was something called AppBlast. AppBlast is a technology that allows you to remote any application (Windows, Mac or Linux) to any HTML5 web browser (no plugin required). This technology was demoed at VMworld by remoting Microsoft Excel to an iPad running Safari. That’s pretty cool.

Here is a video showing Microsoft Visio being delivered to a Mac via Chrome, a Windows Media Player video, and Adobe Photoshop working on an iPad.
