In a previous article, I pointed out VMware’s new enhanced migration including “shared nothing” live migration. Today, I wanted to share with you a video of Microsoft’s Hyper-V Shared Nothing Live Migration included in Windows Server 2012. This video demonstrates seamlessly moving a running virtual machine from local storage on one Hyper-V host to local storage on a different Hyper-V host. Network impact is also shown in the video.
