Replace locked files with InUse.exe

Inuse.exe provides Windows NT and Windows 2000 the
capability to replace files that are currently in use ( locked ) by the
operating system. To obtain inuse, see : Q228930
. SysInternals has release a freeware utility, Handle, that displays information about open handles for any
process in the system. You can use it to see the programs that have a file open,
or to see the object types and names of all the handles of a program.

A gotcha! involving the inuse utility: it will not
work on system files unless the %TEMP% or %TMP% environment variables point to the same drive as
%SystemRoot% .
